Grammy-nominated bluegrass group Sister Sadie performs in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Ford Theater on December 19, 2021. Presented here as part of the “Live at the Hall” series, the performance features Gena Britt on banjo and vocals, Hasee Ciaccio on acoustic bass, Mary Meyer on mandolin, Deanie Richardson on fiddle, and Jaelee Roberts on guitar and vocals.
In 2012, Sister Sadie formed for an impromptu show at Nashville bluegrass venue The Station Inn. In the decade since, the group has received some of the genre’s highest accolades, including the Bluegrass Music Association’s Vocal Group of the Year award three years in a row (2019 through 2021) and the IBMA’s Entertainer of the Year award in 2020.
